Do you know when classes are being offered this year and any information surrounding them? It's been a couple years since I attended and would love to attend again. I was telling a friend about how amazing the classes were and we'd love to find out their price, location, dates, times, etc. I can't remember this information from before. Thanks so much!!!

There is a fall semester and a spring semester. 10 classes in each one. The fall class starts in September. Should be September 13th this fall. Keep watching the blog. I will post the final date as soon as I know it. These are the 10 classes that are listed in the syllabus. She does not always teach them in this order or teach all of these. If she feels inspired to teach a different topic she will do that instead of one of these.

1. House of Order
2. Teaching Children to Feel The Spirit
3. Traditions
4. Stewardship Delegation
5. Competition vs. Cooperation
6. Praise vs. Encouragement
7. Work
8. Service
9. Gratitude/Manners
10. Marriage

In the Spring the classes usually start in January. There are 10 different classes that are in the syllabus for the spring semester. Again she may or may not stick with this specifically. They are...

1. Taking Time To Teach
2. Positive Discipline #1
3. Positive Discipline #2
4. Four Table Legs
5. Self Esteem
6. Color Code
7. Relationships & Communication
8. Stress & Adversity
9. Morality
10.Marriage--The Differences Between Men & Women

Classes are from 9:30-11:30am Thursday mornings at the Nampa Institute building (6115 Birch Lane; Nampa, ID). Babysitting is available. Tracy charges $3 per day per child. Make sure that you plan to use the nursery or find someone else to take your children for those 2 hours. We love your children but there are a lot of people who attend this class and when there are fussy babies or kids in the classroom it makes it too difficult for others to hear.

The cost for the class is $15/for 10 weeks. Checks are payable to BYU-Idaho. There will be a syllabus available for $10. It is optional, but well worth the money. Checks are payable to Carleen Tanner.

Please feel free to pass this information on to friends, family, & ward members. You are welcome to give them this blog address too. http://carleentannersparentingclass.blogspot.com

To register for the class check back on the blog as we get closer and I will post a link to register online OR just show up to class the first day early (or plan on staying late) to register and pay the first day of class.

If you have any more questions please post them and I'll try to get them answered for you. Andrea
